We will be adding to this list over time, but for now we want to highlight a few standout links:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ALLMUSIC - Fantastic website for band research, and song samples. Its an easy way to see some crossover work that musicians have done with various bands and artists. It's easy to get lost in their links from one band to the next.

Pete Frame's Rock family trees - Music historian Pete Frame created an elegant collection of Family Trees connecting one band to the next. Based in England, these trees add tons of depth to the history of some of the most famous rock relationships. It was truly an inspiration for me to start the Retrospective. Click here for an example of Genesis, and Click here for an example of a short lived BBC TV series on the family trees.

Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era, 1965–1968 - Rhino Records released a collection of garage rock band recordings from the 60's and 70's. This is a must listen for anyone learning about the evolution of Rock. Great raw stuff all through this collection. Very inspiring.
